Auspices of ERS

Rules congress/course under auspices of ERS

Congresses, scientific- meetings and courses that wish to be held  “under the

auspices of the ERS” require the approval of the EC, represented in this respect

by the SG.

Criteria for approval are:

  • Topics and contents in conformity with the requirements of the ERS.
  • Involvement of the ERS (program, speakers, teachers)
  • The course director must be an ERS member
  • Special conditions for ERS-members (e.g. reduction of 10% from
  • the participation fee)
  • Requests must be made at least 4 months ahead (date, number of participants
  • expected, language, format, program, congress fee, invited faculty, congress venue)
  • Course programme must be provided*

After approval you are entitled to three years of ERS affiliation.

The ERS can offer to the organizers in case of approval:

a. Announcement as “under the auspices of the ERS”

b. Inclusion in events diary on ERS Website

c. Mailing list of ERS-members (in selected cases)
