SUMMARY:5th European  Frontal Sinus Masterclass
DESCRIPTION:This intensive two-day masterclass in Frontal Sinus Surgery will focus on frontal sinus dissection using cutting edge 3D printed anatomical models. Our multi-material models provide different anatomical grades of frontal sinus complexity and therefore enable the participants to approach the frontal sinus in a stepwise approach. This workshop will mainly concentrate on the hands-on-step-by step-surgical dissection performed by the participants with close supervision from world renowned faculty. Each dissector will undertake up to of 5 frontal Dissections and 2 Modified Endoscopic Lothrop / Draf 3 procedures. There will be a focus on powered instrumentation in endoscopic sinus surgery elaborating the advantages and risks of this surgical technique.

DESCRIPTION:Rhinoplasty course\, May 14-15\, 2025 There is no doubt that the functional and aesthetic surgery of the nose is a complex operation with a difficult learning curve and will always be a challenge for every Otorhinolaryngologist\, Plastic Surgeon and Maxillofacial Surgeon. \nEndoscopic Sinus Surgery (ESS) has been evolving with tremendous speed over the last three decades. As expected\, the demand for training in the endoscopic techniques is continuously growing. In the lab\, participants will familiarize themselves with different applications of powered instrumentation. All lab stations will have image guidance.

DESCRIPTION:This course is aimed at rhinologists interested in developing their knowledge and surgical skills in endoscopic sinus – and skull-base surgery. The course consists of lectures with theory\, but the main focus is on live demo dissections by the faculty\, followed by delegates performing dissections. The aim is to provide a comprehensive overview of external and endoscopic transnasal approaches to – and beyond the sinuses and anterior skull base. The focus of the course will be adapted to the delegates’ experience prior to the course. \nTwo delegates will share one cadaver.

SUMMARY:12th Interdisciplinary Endoscopic Skull Base Surgery Course
DESCRIPTION:Skull Base Surgery underwent significant changes during the last decades. The increasing advancements in the fields of neurosurgery and otorhinolaryngology have challenged surgeons from both specialties to keep up with the rapid technological progress such as operations based on 4K or 3D endoscopy and robotic-assisted skull base surgery. The skull base represents the interface of an intense interdisciplinary collaboration between otorhinolaryngology and neurosurgery. Therefore\, this course focuses on the complex anatomy of the skull base and adjacent anatomical structures\, i.e. sinuses and orbit\, as well as surgical treatment strategies for lesions in this challenging area. Being the highlight of this course\, participants will spend 15 hours of hands-on training on cadavers. An excellent international faculty from Graz\, Erfurt\, Munich\, Brescia\, Padua\, Varese\, and Essen will provide an intensive step-by-step teaching. Additionally\, an outstanding technical support including real time navigation for all specimens\, HD/3D visualization\, 4K endoscopy\, robotic systems as well as high speed drills will be available.

DESCRIPTION:Rhinoplasty course\, May 3-4\, 2023 There is no doubt that the functional and aesthetic surgery of the nose is a complex operation with a difficult learning curve and will always be a challenge for every Otorhinolaryngologist\, Plastic Surgeon and Maxillofacial Surgeon. The programme is structured in such a way that participants will be able to learn the basic techniques but will be also updated on the latest more advanced techniques of rhinoplasty. Dissection on fresh frozen specimens will provide training in surgical skills for the first 20 registered participants. Video sessions\, case presentations\, injectables and fillers in and around the nose will be organized by and discussed with the experts. Endoscopic sinus surgery course\, May 5-6\, 2023 Endoscopic Sinus Surgery (ESS) has been evolving with tremendous speed over the last three decades. As expected\, the demand for training in the endoscopic techniques is continuously growing. Participants will learn and improve their skills in ESS through lectures and cadaver dissections (for the first 20 registered). In the lab\, participants will familiarize themselves with different applications of powered instrumentation. All lab stations will have image guidance. We will try to meet the training needs of all participants\, by tailoring their dissection plan according to their individual needs and training level (a questionnaire will be sent before the course). \nIn a period of 4 days we will accommodate two international courses\, one in rhinoplasty (2 days) and one endoscopic sinus surgery (2 days) with national and international faculty. There is a significant discount if one chooses to do both! The courses will be organized in co-operation with the 1st Academic ENT Department at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and the Hellenic Rhinologic and Facial Plastic Society and are under the auspices of the European Rhinologic Society (ERS) and the European Academy of Facial Plastic Surgery (EAFPS).
